Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is an island city-state off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, south of the Malaysian state of Johor and north of Indonesia's Riau Islands.Singapore is a microstate and the smallest nation in Southeast Asia. It is substantially larger than Monaco and Vatican City, the only other present-day sovereign city-states.The local currency in Singapore is Singapore Dollars.

Climate and weather in Singapore
Singapore is generally hot and humid year round. November and December is the rainy season. June to August is considered to be the best time to visit, but even then it rains often. When it does rain, it's generally only for a short period.
